The New England Classic Charity Trail Ride benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and is sponsored by the Merrimack Valley Trail Riders. Since 1980, this ride has donated over Two Million Dollars, (Ninety cents of every dollar going directly to research), the average life span of a Cystic Fibrosis patient has risen from 15 to 37 years old, and the genetic code of the disease has been unlocked. A few key drugs developed help, but it is not a cure.
