Obstructive Sleep Apnea Treatment
Mandibular Advancement Devices are used to treat mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. These devices are similar to mouthguards and are worn in the mouth. They help to move your jaw forward in order to open your airways while you sleep. Mandibular Advancement Devices provide an alternative to CPAP machines. We can help assess, in coordination with your physician, if such a device is appropriate for you and fabricate a custom Mandibular Advancement Device for you. Dr. Leighton is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
